Last Week’s Red Carpet Dresses Are “To Die For”, Literally
So many red carpet dresses from last week, we held our breath till our faces turned purple, literally.
From Nana Akua Addo’s angelic red carpet dress at the Glitz Africa Style Awards 2019 (To us, we have found our 2019 dress with the most creative details – Beyoncé please go home to Jay) to Madisin Rian’s metallic wavy dress style at Rihanna’s 5th Annual Diamond Ball, let’s get down to dress details and much more red carpet dresses from last week.
Just like the month of July, the month of September has seen an adequate number of camera flashes and glitz & glamour moments.
And as usual, celebrities seize every chance to let us into what their sense of fashion and wardrobe is filled with.
Some of the glamour events of last week were South Africa’s “most Glamorous women Awards” which was studded with South Africa’s wardrobe influencers and TV personalities.
In attendance for this event were Justine Peterson, Melody Molale, Blue Mbombo, Bonang Matheba, Jessica van Heerden, Jodie Peterson, Siyanda Dzenga and many others.
These households were individually honored as the 2019 most glamorous women in the annual event. And because we think they live up to their new title, these are some of their respective red carpet dresses for the event.
Another event that revealed more celebrity red carpet dresses was the 2019 creative arts Emmy Awards. The attendants who graced this event were top notch celebrities who are undeniably fashion influencers, with millions of followers on the gram.
Some of the celebrities who canceled other affairs to be present at the Microsoft Theater in downtown L.A for the Emmy 2019 creative arts awards were Kim Kardashian, who appeared velvet-lit in a black sleeveless velvet long gown.
Others were Laverne Cox, Jane Lynch, Sydney Sweeny etc.
Another star gathering which happened sometime last week was the Glitz Africa Style Awards which introduced Nana Akua Addo’s snatched angelic looks.
Seriously, we weren’t ready for this but d**mit, we had no ideas that heavenly angels have got hips for dresses.
While we couldn’t define how we feel about this, Yvonne Okoro came right through to steal our attention with an emerald colored gown as she bagged the Glitz Africa Style Influencer Award for the year 2019.
One of the most styled males of the annual 2019 version of the event was Mai Atafo, who donned a dark velvet blazer with gold colored patches.
This blazer was originally made for Obi Emeka Uchendu for his first appearance on the BBNaija opening show. Let’s say, there was a friendly disagreement and Mai made away with the fashion piece.

Men Celebrity Red Carpet Dresses
Let’s be honest, Offset was fashion standout with his glitzy blue colored blazers, and a silver colored signature sleeve ending, while Yo Gotti literally followed suit with a similar fashion style as Offset, donning a complete black suit with glitzy break.
There more TV faces who wowed over the weekend, but just to keep the list short (because, we can’t literally leave anyone out if we make a long list), so we will let the few images do the talking while we wait for your “oh wow” on the comment section.
